| Submitting Repairs to the Listing Agent
REALTORS®, Alpine Home Inspections wishes to help you have a
positive and successful transaction. Many times, buyers
agents will submit their report to the listing agent and get a
negative response. This is not always because they are
unwilling to make repairs, but that they do not have the means,
or the resources to make the repairs. That is where we
come in.
Making the Transaction Easier
By making
it as easy as possible for the sellers, you are helping them in
the right decision to make the necessary repairs. Below is
a checklist of ways that we can help you get your repairs
approved.
- Review the inspection with
your buyers and decide which repairs they would like to
make.
- Contact the
Fix It Squad and
provide them with the property address and the buyers name,
as well as the repairs that the buyers would like to have
completed.
- Our
Fix It Squad will
review the inspection, and send over a repair estimate to
you.
- Fax the listing agent a
letter explaining the inspection, the repair issues, and a
copy of the repair estimate along with the
Fix It Squad contact
information.
In
many cases the sellers will agree to provide an allowance for
the repairs in escrow, or may even contact our Fix It Squad and
have them come and make the repairs directly. This process
gives the sellers the resources to make the repairs, while
keeping the process simple.
